STATUS TYPES

BURN

When a unit becomes Burned, place a Burn counter on it. A unit with a Burn counter on it has its Base Attack reduced by 1 after all other base stat modifiers.

When a unit that already has a Burn counter on is Burned again, the player inflicting the Burn may break 1 Accessory that is equipped to the unit being Burned. If there is no Accessory equipped to the unit being Burned, deal 1 damage to the unit being Burned instead (this is not treated as damage from a card effect).

HEX

When a unit becomes Hexed, place a Hex counter on it. A unit with a Hex counter on it has its Base Luck reduced by 1 after all other base stat modifiers.

When a unit that already has a Hex counter on it is Hexed again, the controller of that unit must remove from the game cards from their Discard Pile equal to the Base Luck of the unit being Hexed and if they cannot, deal 1 damage to that unit ignoring Resist instead. A player must remove from the game 1 card from their Discard Pile before damage calculation when attacking with a Hexed unit and if they cannot, deal 1 damage to that unit ignoring Resist.

POISON

When a unit becomes Poisoned, place a Poison counter on it (maximum 1). A unit with a Poison counter on it has its Base Resist reduced by 1 after all other base stat modifiers.

When a unit that already has a Poison counter on it is Poisoned again, the controller of that unit must send the top 2 cards of their Deck to the Discard Pile. If they cannot, deal damage to that unit equal to the number of Poison counters on it instead. The controller of a Poisoned unit must send 1 card from the top of their Deck to their Discard Pile to attack, move or play a card with that unit.

BLIND

When a unit becomes Blinded, place a Blind counter on it. A unit with a Blind counter on it has its Base reach reduced by 1 after all other base stat modifiers.

A unit that has Blind counters on it loses 1 reach while resolving card effects that would reach other cards in play for each Blind counter on it minus 1.

STUN

When a unit becomes Stunned, place a Stun counter on it. A unit with a Stun counter on it has its Base movement reduced by 1 after all other base stat modifiers.

When a unit with Stun counters on it is attacked, before the attacking card rolls for Critical Damage, increase the Luck of the attacking unit by 1 for each Stun counter on the attacked unit until the end of damage calculation.

NUL

When a unit becomes Nulled, place a Nul counter on it (maximum 1).

When a card is Nulled, all effects of that card are removed from the card as though it has no effects. A unit will roll for Resist to prevent Nul if the unit in specific is the card being inflicted with Nul instead of a card being played by that unit or that is equipped to that unit.

If an Action or Item would be Nulled, that Action or Item will fail to resolve its Immediate effects and be sent to the Discard Pile. If an Item is Nulled, the player that played the Item will not draw a card for resolving an Item since the resolution of that Item fails.
